Preventic is a 25" collar used to kill and detach ticks on dogs only. Not for use on any other animal. It is effective within 24 hours of application and lasts for up to 3 months.
How to Use:
Place the Preventic 25" collar around the dogs neck close enough that it touches the skin. Buckle and trim off any excess. Remove the collar before bathing or swimming and put it back on when dog is dry.

Warnings:
Do not use on puppies less than 12 weeks old. Consult your veterinarian before using on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals. Do not use on dogs that are being medicated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as seleiline, tricyclic antidepressants such as clomipramine and SSRIs such as flouxeline. Remove the collar at first sign of irritation or adverse reaction. This is not for human use. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. Always follow package instructions prior to use. |

have 2 pitbulls and live in the country. they both started getting tick all over and one contracted a blood infection from them w/i a few days. vet put both of them on preventic collars and w/i days ticks were dead and falling off.

I had a major outbreak of ticks on my dogs. First I panicked, I took the next step and had my yard treated, then I tried numerous products on my dogs that did not work. Finally in desperation I tried the Preventic collars on my dogs. Well not only was the collar keeping the dogs off, I started to see dead ticks as evidence that this collar WORKS.
